August 26, 2021 (Hershey, PA) – 5K Event Benefits Culinary Arts Boot Camp for Veterans
178 team members of Avision Sales Group, a national manufacturer’s representative company with 17 offices throughout the United States, hammed it up as they raised $20,000 for Culinary Arts Boot Camp for Veterans.
Challenging family and friends to join in and donate to the cause, participants we re-encouraged to run, walk, bike, crawl or come up with an alternate mode of completing a 5k trek from wherever they may be located. Hundreds of pictures were taken sharing images of running, bike and walking packs, and individuals showing off their strides – and good old-fashioned enthusiasm.
“I could not be more excited to have helped one of my favorite non-profit organizations that is dear to my heart and community,” said Executive Vice President of Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Katie Stowe, who helped organize the effort.
Culinary Arts Boot Camp for Veterans is a nonprofit organization aimed at helping homeless vets and those transitioning into civilian life with free culinary training and fellowship. Their mission is to get veterans reintegrated into the community with the aim of leading productive and independent lives.

We know this will go a long way for this organization and I am proud that the great members of our company made it happen,” said CEO of Avision Sales Group Joe Orednick.
